A regular on the festival circuit from Glastonbury to Green Man, his solo show features dobro, chatturangui (22 string Indian slide guitar), and a unique beatbox harmonica style that never fails to get a crowd on its feet. Original arrangements of folk melodies, blues, gospel and Indian music. |

Last year marked The Carrivick Sisters journey from youthful pretenders to serious contenders, from teenage promise to the rich assurance of young adulthood. Starting 2010 as runners-up in the BBC Young Folk Awards, Laura & Charlotte have gone on to play at major venues throughout the country, headlining in their own right but also sharing bills with such names as Ralph McTell, the Quebe Sisters, Sara Watkins and Crooked Still releasing their eagerly awaited 4th CD 'From The Fields' produced by Joe Rusby and featuring such luminaries as BJ Cole. |
