A beautiful three days was had by everyone who visited Quest this July. The sun shone ( mostly!), we danced to outdoor samba and jazz bands, treated ourselves to all sorts of different healing therapies and then sat down to wood fired pizzas, noodles or delicious Thali dinners. A growing flavour of local sustainable enterprises meant we had huge home-hewn oak benches made by Rural Craftsman Davin, Embercombe planting up salad boxes, and biodynamic juices from Tom Morrow to taste and buy. Plus there was our wonderful array of fair trade clothing, jewellery and artefacts. Many of the rooms at the Racecourse become workshop venues where all sorts of skills, meditations and subjects were on offer. Talks on how alkaline your body is, how hypnotherapy can help you sleep, how to write your own life story, plus drumming, shamanic journeys, dance and tantra......it was a full day of delights.
The creche was much appreciated and being located next to the Wise Moon marquee meant parents could leave their children and attend talks close by. There were workshops for children most of the day and it was great to see more and more children coming to Quest.
Quest is our local healing Show and a great place to meet up with friends and get together with people who have the same vision for their lives and the world we live in. We all come away inspired with the inherent love and goodness of people and the amazing capacity we have to create a beautiful world.
Dates for 2012 are confirmed as 13 - 15th July so put it in your diary now and we will see you there.
With love
